The Prime Contractor Area is limited for use by prime contractors and major subcontractors that actively support Air Force and DoD SBIR/STTR programs. A large business wishing to provide SBIR/STTR topic ideas should send its request to info@sbirsttrmall.com. Questions may also be referred to the Shopping Mall Manager. [Note: the Prime Contractor Area is not accessible by small businesses; this area should not be confused with the Small Business Area which is open to eligible small businesses.]

The Air Force SBIR/STTR Program
The purpose of the Prime Contractor Topic Idea Generation Area is to:

Provide primes the opportunity to make PEOs and other Air Force organizations aware of promising SBIR/STTR topic suggestions.
Develop topic ideas that meet the primes’ R&D needs in roadmaps that are aligned to Air Force/DoD requirements.
Identify topic ideas that have a high likelihood of transitioning into an Air Force/DoD system or subsystem, thereby increasing commercialization outcomes.
